Plotters who want to derail stability and good governance at Emalahleni came under fire during a prayer session.
Pastor Josiah Motshweni warned anarchists whose primary objective is to disrupt the Executive Mayor Lindiwe Ntshalintshali to desist from their mission.
"They want to turn this place into a Soddom and Gomora where God was never taken serious. Sin is ruling our place. There is chaos because of the ruling of the sin. Sin is what makes God turn against us," said Motshweni.
He said it was equally sinful not to pay for services as that strains the municipality financially and leads to non delivery of services.
The Executive Mayor pleaded with pastors to pray for councillors, municipal staff and residents to adhere to honesty and the truth.
"I am under attack because I stand for the truth and honesty. Emalahleni was on fire after I told the community the truth. Please pray for the community to know the truth," she pleaded.
Ntshalintshali dismissed the propaganda which is spread by unscrupulous individuals that she is arrogant and must vacate her position.
"Some have resorted to lies that I am arrogant because I tell the community the truth. They are uncomfortable because they don't want me to tell the truth."
She revealed that one of her sons have been attacked to intimidate her.
