The Emalahleni Municipality has been made aware of increasing attempts to invade or illegally occupy land in areas designated for business or human settlements development. We hereby inform the community that:

•⁠  ⁠The Municipality is NOT currently allocating or selling residential stands.
•⁠  ⁠Any attempts to engage in or facilitate such illegal activities will be met with strict action.

WARNING:

Any person found to be instigating, engaging in, or occupying land illegally will be arrested in accordance with the Municipal Management and Control of Informal Settlements and Land Invasions By-law.
