The team is currently wrapping up the work at Point C in preparation of commissioning back the 60 ML reservoir.
The reservoir will be recharged over 72 hours starting today wherein the filling up of the reservoir, to be flushed and thereafter will be filled up and ready for distribution to communities.
The system is expected to be filled up over the weekend and should stabilise during the coming week.
Cogta has been assisting the municipality with water tankers and Jojo tanks for the affected communities.
The water testing process is being conducted daily to monitor the quality of water by the scientific services.
The servicing of water tankers at strategic locations is being conducted daily.
