Notice is hereby given, in terms of Section 152, subsection (1) (a) of the Constitution of the Republic of South Africa (1996), read in with Chapter 4, Section 17 of the Local Government: Municipal Systems Act (No.32 of 2000), the Emalahleni Local Municipality will be conducting a community survey to collect household data as part of the Revenue Enhancement Strategy, this will ensure that accurate and current information is captured to facilitate proper planning and allocation of resources to improve service delivery and support ongoing municipal initiatives. 

The project will be for a period of six months and has created hundred and two temporary employments.
 
Residents of Emalahleni Local Municipality are encouraged to support and co-operate with the authorised personnel from the municipality. 

The authorised personnel will always present their dentification cards and an original letter with the municipal watermark and logo signed by the Accounting Officer or delegated person.
