“The Emalahleni Local Municipality invites all interested parties to make representations on the draft Water Service Development Plan (WSDP). Section 14 of the Water Service Act requires that; the Water Service Authorities must take reasonable steps to bring its draft WSDP to different stakeholders so that they have the opportunity to comment on it.
The Municipality intends providing members of the public with an opportunity to make written representations on the draft WSDP. Interested parties may access the proposed draft WSDP at the Records Office, 2 nd Floor,Emalahleni Local Municipality Building, Corner Arras & Mandela Street, Emalahleni, between 10am and 4pm, Monday to Friday, before 21 May 2022. The draft WSDP may also be accessed at www.emalahleni.gov.za.
All comments must be submitted to mahlalelatt@emalahleni.gov.za. All public commentsmust be received by the Municipality, on or before 21 May 2022.
