Restored areas
The Municipality is pleased to inform residents that Highveld Mall, N4 Business Park and Hlalanikahle Ext 2 have been restored.
Remaining affected areas
- Portions of Del Judor Ext 1 and 2, Eden Park, Witbank Ext 8, Reno Ridge extensions, Ben Fleur extensions, Corridor Hill, Tasbet Park Ext 1, 2 and 3, portions of Duvha Park, Model Park, and portions of Die Heuwel Ext 4.
- Klarinet Ext 7
- Hlalanikahle Ext 4 and 5
- Kwa-Guqa Ext 7 and 14
- Empumelelweni Ext 6 and 8
Status update
Our teams are still working on power restoration affecting both the Eastern and Western sides. The intermittent weather conditions still remain a factor that is making it difficult to proceed with restoration efforts, as the rain and winds continue to make it unfavourable for our technicians to work with electrical apparatus.
Updates will be provided as progress is made with each of the affected areas. Unfortunately it is difficult to make any predictions as we are currently being controlled by the weather conditions. The Municipality humbly requests the communities’ patience and cooperation. We apologise for the inconvenience caused to the affected residents.
