The Municipality would like to update the community on the progress regarding the power outages affecting the following areas:
- Die Heuwel Manor Estate Ext 24, Hertzog street, Technopark, Tungsten road, Voortrekker up to OR Tambo Auctioneers — The status for the above listed areas remains the same. The fault has not been located.
- Tasbet Park Ext 2 — Repairs are ongoing, the estimated restoration time is approximately 2 hours.
- Corridor Hill Flats — The status for the area remains the same. The area is on the list.
- Van Wyk Substation Ext 8 — Restored.
- Portion of N4 Business Park — Repairs are underway, the estimated restoration time is approximately 4 hours.
- Sunset Boulevard and Bellinie Estates — Sunset Boulevard has been restored. The transformer supplying Bellinie Estate was found to be faulty. Further updates will be provided based on availability.
- Portion of Reyno Ridge Ext 4 — The team has been dispatched to the area.
- Kwa-Guqa Ext 4 — Restored.
- Klarinet — The affected block that remains outstanding is in Klarinet Ext 8. A fault was located on the transformer supplying the area. Updates will be provided once available.
- Del Judor Ext 1 and 2 — Restored.
- Eden Park and Witbank Ext 16, Blancheville — The last two mentioned areas are yet to be attended and are part of the list.

As we work to restore all the outstanding areas, we request that all residents of Emalahleni assist by switching off their geysers and non-essential appliances in order to lighten the load on our system during this cold front.
