The Municipality would like to update the community on the progress regarding the power outages affecting the following areas:
- Witbank Ext 3, 5, 8, 12, 16, 41
- Del Judor Proper
- Portion of Del Judor Ext 1 — A cable fault has been located between Malherbe and Driehoek substation. The team is onsite and fault finding is underway.
- Witbank Ext 10 — The team is replacing kiosks at 11 and 17 Christian De Wet street. Power has been isolated for streets feeding off Piet Joubert sub station. The estimated restoration time is 6 hours.
- Witbank Ext 16 — Mini substation 27 on Lombard, which also feeds Birkholtz and De Kock, is off. The responsible team has been informed.
- Witbank Ext 41 — Mini substation 11 on Claudia street is experiencing low supply. The responsible team has been informed.
- Riverview — An update on Riverview is yet to be received.
