Reason for the interruption
- Our technicians have established that there is a fault between Driehoek and Doornpoort substation and they are currently working on locating it, for the power outage affecting Highveld Mall, The Ridge Casino and N4 Business Park.
- For the Grobler supplied areas, the team is suspecting another cable theft as restoration efforts continued last night with no success. The team is trying to locate the area where the cable might have been stolen.
- Marelden will only be attended once the outages affecting large areas have been resolved. Unfortunately this is also applicable to Eco Ridge and Eco Ridge Gardens.
Estimated restoration time: not available at present for all the affected areas.
Further details will be provided as progress is made for each of the affected areas. The Municipality apologises profusely for the inconvenience caused to the affected communities.
