PUBLIC NOTICE :: Unplanned Water Supply Interruptions In Phola and Ogies

Emalahleni local municipality supplies potable water through internal schemes and also augments through external schemes.

 One of the external schemes that supplies potable water to ELM is under going major plant repairs due to an unexpected technical breakdown. 

The plant is operating but at reduced capacity and some areas will be experiencing reduced or no water supply. 

We urge those that are receiving water to conserve the available water and report any leaks on the system.

Technical teams are attending to the situation, and all necessary interventions are underway to restore operations as soon as possible. 

Updates will be communicated should there be any significant developments.

We apologise for the inconvenience caused and appreciate the community’s patience and cooperation during this period.

Water tankers will be available in starteric areas until the repairs have been completed.
