The Municipality would like to update the community on the progress regarding the power outages affecting the following areas:
Bellinie Estate
The transformer supplying Bellinie Estate and a portion of surrounding areas is currently being sourced. Further updates regarding repairs will be provided once the new transformer has been secured.
Blancheville and Riverview
The team is en route to the area. Further updates will be provided as the team makes progress with both areas.
Recommendation
- That the network should be treated as live during the scheduled power outage.
- The areas identified at the issuing time of the notice can be changed due to ring feeding.

As we work to restore all the outstanding areas, we request that all residents of Emalahleni assist by switching off their geysers and non-essential appliances in order to lighten the load on our system during this cold front.
