The Municipality would like to update the community on the progress regarding the power outages affecting the following areas:
Blancheville and Riverview
Fault finding is underway for the power outage affecting Blancheville. Riverview will be attended after the Blancheville area is restored. Further updates will be provided as the team makes progress with both areas.
Klarinet Ext 8
The area remains affected due to a faulty transformer.
The Municipality apologises for the inconvenience caused to the affected residents and appreciates your patience and cooperation. As we work to restore all the outstanding areas, we request that all residents of Emalahleni assist by switching off their geysers and non-essential appliances in order to lighten the load on our system during this cold front.
