The Municipality would like to update the community on the most recent power outages affecting the following areas:
Affected areas — Group 1
- Die Heuwel 1 – 4
- Blancheville
- Gordon Road Estates
- Riverview
- Jackaroo Park
- Clearwater
- Witbank Ext 3, 10, 12, 24
- Marelden
An overhead power line from Grobler substation to Doornpoort substation supplying the listed areas has snapped. Spares are being sourced. An update will be provided once the required materials are delivered.
Affected areas — Group 2
- Del Judor Ext 1, 2 and Proper
- N4 Business Park
- Witbank Ext 5, 8, 16, 41 and Eden Park
- Model Park
The team is onsite at Doornpoort substation and has established that there is a fault. Further updates will be provided as progress is made.
The Municipality apologises to the affected residents for the inconvenience caused and requests the affected communities’ patience and cooperation.
