Reason for interruption
- Marelden was successfully restored but has just experienced another power failure.
- It is with great regret that we have to inform the community of Marelden and Die Heuwel Ext 4 that our team will only be able to attend to the areas once the larger areas have been restored. The team was working in the area but urgently needed to attend to the damaged cable between Kierpersol and Doornpoort substation.

Further updates will be communicated once there is significant progress. The Municipality understands the frustration faced by residents and apologises for these unforeseen challenges.
